Scope Of Work
You will be assigned a designer who will guide you through the process, making sure you have everything you need for the scope of works to tender to the builder(s).
All of the work will be assembled into a beautifully designed document
The scope of work is guided by a designer but you choose the style and products.
Summit will provide a pdf document with standard room finishes, and fixtures and fittings from which you can choose to create a basic finish for each individual room.
We will provide a list of recommended kitchen and bathroom suppliers.
You will be assigned an additional Architect who will create the MEP plans (windows, doors, electrical and plumbing) creating a cohesive design for the suppliers.
Scope Of Work Contains
- Room finishes – flooring, ceilings, walls and skirting as chosen by client unless you select an interior design add-on
- Fixtures and fittings – doors, handles, hinges, radiators, valves, lighting, sockets and switches as chosen by client unless you select an interior design add-on
- Plans, building regulations and structural calculations
- Electrical, plumbing, door and window plans
- Kitchen and bathroom plans, with a list of recommended providers
- Mood boards, inspirations and/or colour palettes
The Journey
- Initial scope of work introduction meeting to discuss process and next steps
- Window and door plans will be created and supplied
- Information from suppliers will be collated for the SOW
- The fixtures and fittings document will be finalised
- Building regulations and structural calculations started (time: 2-3 weeks)
- Plumbing and electrical plans created (time: 1-2 weeks)
- Begin to talk to builders and arrange site visits
- SOW to be finalised (time: 2-3 days)
- SOW sign-off
- Choose builder
- Go through building control process
